And so it begins

This morning I zipped into Waterloo for my first taste of Diocesan Synod; and it tasted good. But as I sat there, after arriving really quite early by finding the church by mistake, I pondered how best to feed back to Richmond and Barnes Deanery. Someway of taking it beyond the Deanery meetings and, to boot, negate others tedium at having to listen to me report. So I thought I'd try a blog; deanery members can have a feed, read up on my perceptions of happenings and grill me at meets.

This is an experiment - perhaps it'll work and I'll continue - perhaps my interpretation of events will get shot down in flames - or just perhaps it'll be a way of the church using tech to its benefit.

At the moment I'm in ruminating mode, so as I digest the stuff from General Synod and mull over the possibilities of the eco-policy that went through I'll post.
